Partnering with HCPN means joining a movement of churches united in the mission of seeing Greater Houston transformed by the gospel. Together, we are committed to planting new churches and ensuring that every man, woman, and child has ongoing opportunities to see, hear, and respond to the good news of Jesus.
While this partnership is focused on churches in the Greater Houston area, if you are part of another city, visit www.citynetworks.org to discover how churches in your city are collaborating for gospel impact.

The following are commitments that churches connected to HCPN are making:
Commitment to Christ
We believe Jesus is central to the transformation of both lives and communities. The story of the Church is the story of people changed by Jesus who, in turn, bring change to the world. The depth of our transformation fuels both the power of our witness and the effectiveness of our ministry. HCPN is rooted in the good news of Jesus Christ, and we are committed to making Him known throughout our city.
Commitment to Church Planting
As God’s mission advances and the gospel takes root in people’s lives, new churches must be planted. In a city as diverse as Houston, it will take hundreds of churches of different models and expressions to truly saturate our city with communities that both proclaim and demonstrate the gospel.
Commitment to Collaboration
When God looks at a city, He does not see many separate churches but one Church, gathering in many places. In John 17, Jesus prayed for a unity that is both spiritual and missional—essential to the witness of the Church in every generation. In a sprawling city like Houston, with nearly 10,000 square miles, no single church can reach the city alone. Collaboration isn’t optional, it’s essential.
Commitment to our City
The Great Commission is not just aspirational—it is an actual mandate. In every time and place, the Church is responsible for saturating its community with the gospel. While no single church, no matter how large, can accomplish this alone, together the Church can. Each church commits to reaching Houston as a whole and especially the part of the city where God has placed them.
Commitment to Contribute
Partnership means participation. Churches and pastors invest time, influence, people, and resources so the whole body thrives. As we give and contribute, the mission moves further, leaders are developed, new churches are planted, and the gospel advances miles beyond what any of us could accomplish alone.
Partnership with HCPN
Thank you for considering partnership with HCPN. Every church shares the same commitments, but we recognize that churches are able to engage at different levels. To make this clear, we’ve outlined three ways your church can connect with HCPN—whether as a Participating Church, a Partnering Church, or a Pillar Church.
Participating Churches
Participating Churches are connected. They engage in relationships, prayer, and shared learning. These churches are beginning to collaborate with HCPN and exploring ways to contribute to the mission.
Partnering Churches
Partnering Churches are committed. They intentionally invest time, resources, and leadership to advance the mission of church planting in Houston and to see the city saturated with gospel-centered churches.
Pillar Churches
Pillar Churches are catalyzing. They serve as anchor leaders in the network—setting the pace, providing significant investment, and helping shape the vision so that the mission advances across Greater Houston.
